Archer Farms House Blend

So I found house blend to be good. It's not as good as the New Orleans brand I got last year but it's better than kevalia.

Healthy Choice Greek Yogurt

Though I know regular yogurt is probably the healthiest way to go, I'm always looking for the alternative. As much as I do grab yogurt, I tend to waste at least half the 6 pack i get. The main reason is I never finish it all in time and it goes sour. With a frozen yogurt, I didn't feel the rush of needing to finish the yogurt in a week or two and had time to enjoy my 3 pack yogurt whenever I felt like it. I really enjoyed this. I enjoyed this flavor and I couldn't put the spoon down once I started.

This is definitely recommended on my list of foods. I will be getting this again very soon :).

Chobani: Key Lime Crumble

I know it’s been awhile since my last post but I suddenly had the urge to write again about something new I’ve tried. Excited about this new find I’d like to share with you my thoughts on the Chobani Key Lime Crumble.

Rewind: Maybe it is my pregnancy that has me craving things but I have been on a fruit craze. Just last week I bought three mixed packages of fruits and berries. From strawberries, blueberries, kiwis, mangoes, pineapple, raspberries, and watermelon.

And today for lunch since I finished off all those fruits last week, I grabbed a box of raspberries and a box of blackberries and I haven’t had yogurt in a couple months so I thought I’d try to find something that might go with this fruity craving. And there I find Chobani’s new Flip yogurts where they have yogurt on one corner and toppings in the other.

The Key Lime Crumble had just the right touch to it. The flavor was bright with scattered bits of lime (3 to be exact), the texture wasn’t too hard or too soft, it wasn’t too sweet or to dry. And then topping it with the crumbles and white chocolate pieces just added to the great lime flavor. It really is as good as it sounds if you like Key Lime Pie.

Central Market's Pad Thai

I love finding great deals on fabulous foods. I have to say this is a pretty good version of pad thai for its price. On a budget? This would be a great bang for its buck. The rice noodles with shrimp, squid, and tofu, in a sweet and spicy sauce, topped with crunchy peanuts is delicious. :)

Grilled Chicken and Mango Quesadillas

Today the Farmer's Market at City Hall opened up again as the summer ends and the weather cools down. It definitely feels good outside. As I passed this booth, I couldn't help but take a step back and ask questions. Zierau Fine Foods. Curiosity definitely hit me as I saw food on the grill. The options were grilled fish tacos or grilled chicken quesadillas. I would usually choose seafood over chicken anytime, but it was only a few days ago that I had some great tilapia tacos at a mexican restuarant in kerrville. That made my choice much simpler, try something different and chicken quesadillas were the answer :). The fact that mangoes were added in made me want it even more!

I think it was delicious. The chicken was seasoned well and the tomatoes, bell pepper and onions, including the mango made it a very flavorful with a hint of sweetness. I definitely enjoyed this. I wonder what else this catering service has in store for their customers.

Coco Cafe: Cafe Latte Coconut Water - Espresso

Have you ever opened up a Frappuccino Starbucks bottle and sipped it as the sweet coffee flavor taste hydrates in your mouth? Well this product is very similar to that, except the sweet coffee flavor taste suddenly changes to a coconut flavor. Ending it with a mixture of espresso and coconut taste in your mouth. It's a rather interesting combination. I got this from the convenient store in the downtown tunnel for over 3 bucks. It's not bad, but I wouldn't say I'd grab it again. If its something refreshing like coconut you are looking for, I'd stick with coconut water or coconut juice. And if you're in the mood for a cold sweet coffee drink, stick to the Starbucks or any brand that specializes in coffee drinks. But if you are in an adventurous mood as I was and want to try both at the same time, you can always give this a shot ;).
